"If you don't think you were born to run you're not only denying history. You're denying who you are" - Christopher McDougall, Born to Run

Running is one of the most popular activities in the world.  Whether it is for recreation, fitness or competitive, its benefits to the body and mind well documented.  We have evolved to be runners, our body is perfectly designed to run for long periods.  It actually functions at its best when running.  We teach running technique to children and adults in order to improve efficiency and decrease the risk of injuries using unique coaching methods developed by industry expert Mike Antoniadis at The Running School in London.

Our 6 week running technique programme can help you reach your goals. Whether you want to run faster, be more efficient, run pain free or you are a beginner,

No matter what your level of running or age, learning correct technique can help you;

  • run faster

  • run longer

  • be more efficient

  • lower the risk of injury

  • remove the destructive movements which can cause chronic or recurring injuries.

What We Do

Julie came to see me with chronic knee pain due to running especially when going downhill. Analysis of her technique and movement revealed too much pressure on the knee due to the impact of over stride and the fact that her hip musculature were very inactive when running meaning the muscles and tendons around the knee were taking the strain.  6 sessions later, with no pain, she was stunned to see how she looked like a runner now.

What We Do

Jack came to see me after a referral from his GP.  He was struggling with his running a year on from setting a 16 minute 5k PR.  In part due to poor technique and  part extended time spent sitting for his school studies he had become very quad and calf dominant which was resulting in a laboured tiring running action.  Within 6 weeks Jack was back enjoying full training with the potential to go even faster for less effort.
